This is the Brindley group's 11th dealership in the Midlands. The family-run Brindley garages group is one of the largest independent garage group in the West Midlands, selling more than 10,000 cars annually and employing over 600 staff.</p> <p>The group was originally founded in 1931 when Bill Brindley set up his business in a wooden shed with one petrol pump at Birches Bridge, Codsall, Wolverhampton. The new look Brindley Citroen and Mitsubishi is headed by general manager Mark Johnson who moved from Brindley Citroen Wolverhampton. Mark has 25 years in the trade with 13 years with Citro&euml;n and brings a wealth of knowledge to the site.</p> <p>The new look Brindley Wednesbury is now open after six months redevelopment work. Staff have also been boosted from 15 to 25. To celebrate the completion of the building, the company is holding a special open weekend on July 14/15, with a range of offers up for grabs for customers. Brindley is also preparing for the arrival of two new exciting models from different ends of the market.</p> <p>Mitsubishi is launching the new i car an ultrachic, ultra-modern small vehicle, while Citro&euml;n launching the new C Crosser, an SUV that defies usual conventions. Mr Johnson said: It is rugged, yet incredibly stylish, capable off-road whilst extremely responsive and dynamic on-road. The Brindley boss also said he would like to apologise to all customers for all the inconvenience caused by the building work. He said: I hope they can now appreciate the radical changes that have taken place. It has been well worth the wait.? The total investment in the new building work is &pound;650,000. The showroom has increased from 185 square metres to a massive 550 square metres.</p> <p>The firm says it enables the complete range of Citro&euml;n and Mitsubishi products to be displayed at the site. Also, unique to the site is the inclusion of a special hand-over bay to ensure customers can take delivery of their cars in any weather&nbsp; without getting wet. Open Following the enlargement of the showroom the after-sales has moved to its own facility.</p> <p>Other improvements include increasing the workshop from five ramps to nine and featuring all the latest state-of-the-art equipment and factory trained technicians. Mr Johnson added: We have also doubled the used car display area which enables us to offer a greater choice of quality pre-owned vehicles.?
